CNC router

Our CNC router has a working envelope of 2440 x 1220 x 250 mm. It is capable of cutting full sheets of plywood, and MDF, as well as solid wood, and many other types of materials. It runs on LinuxCNC the open source machine controller.

There is also a 4th axis attachment that allows cylindrical components to be made, such as barley twists, wooden screws, and even clogs.

If you have a project you would like to get cut please email me with CAD drawings, in the form of dxf or svg files. If you do not have the necessary digital skills then we can develop your project from a simple pencil sketch, so get in touch anyway.

Costs

We charge just £60 per hour for CNC Router cutting, and £30 for CAD work . However, if there are any complicated set ups required extra charges may apply.
